In the early evening hours of January 31, 2012, Lee West, a freshman at Steubenville High School, was tragically killed in a fire at his family’s home on Virginia Avenue.

The entire Ohio Valley community has rallied support for the West family, as their home was a total loss and their possessions destroyed.  During Friday’s basketball game against Steubenville Big Red, the Brooke High basketball team will accept donations to help West’s family recover from their painful loss.

Additionally, Brooke High’s swim team will encourage donations during their regional swim meet at the school on Saturday, February 11.
